As I've stated in a past review I am very keen on Hacker Pschorr beers. And where and whenever possible I try and buy a bottle or two of which every Hacker Pschorr beer I can find. Here in this review I have picked their Kellerbier . This is a distinct style of beer which is essentially an unfiltered lager. The beer when poured has a very clear orangey, amber colour, which strongly resembles a weissbier. The aroma has a lot of character and there are traces of yeast and wheat on the nose. The hazy complexion of the beer has a refreshing , almost thirst quenching quality. The lager is clean but has oodles of almost chewy like consistency. The mouthfeel is rich and full, The alcohol content is noticeable too, brewed to 5.5% this packs a punch on the nose and palate. Not a particular strong beer but one that weighs in considerable along side say a Munchner Gold or a Dunkel. The key element to this beer is that it is unfiltered, and this gives it a rich , warming sensation. Another cracker from Hacker Pschorr.
