Another Munich helles, another superb German lager . The original lager from the Hofbrauhaus is a must. Rolling in 5.1% its an average strength munich lager, but this has a lot more body to it. A touch of alcohol on the aroma and palate gives way to a stronger bitter taste, which demands more attention. Sunny golden in colour and good rolling carbonation in the glass, this adds up to a great Munich original helles. The flavour is strong and robust , the taste has a slighty bitter edge , which is evident through the hops from which the beer builds its dominance, The beer has a barley malt contingency which gives way to the stronger biscuity taste.
